Letterman Jacket, Varsity Jacket, or a Senior Jacket?
Why so many Different terms!?
With all the different terms, people might get confused with what they should be searching for! Is it Senior Jackets? or Varsity Jackets? or Letterman Jackets?
Well..in short, they are all the same, the only difference is the reason behind the name:
Letterman Jackets: The name came from the big Letter patches on your letterman jackets chest (for example: you want to put your school letter or your first names letter on your letterman jacket).
Varsity Jacket: The term varsity jacket came from the term "varsity sports" which are university sports teams with members wearing their own varsity jackets.
Senior Jackets: Refers to "High school Seniors" people who are about to graduate highschool therefore wearing their own custom senior jackets.
At the end of the day, all these terms mean the same thing, so Senior Jackets, Varsity Jackets, and Letterman Jackets shouldn't be confused as different terms!
